Do you know that Jesus willingly died to save you and me? A Salvation Prayer to enter into a personal relationship with Jesus.

(Please read this page in its entirety to understand how to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Further down the page there's a salvation prayer that you can pray and next steps to take if you choose to devote your life to Jesus.)

You might think that you have to clean yourself up before God will accept you, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. God loves you unconditionally because He is love. (See 1 John 4:8)

He knows every thought you have ever had. He’s seen every tear you’ve cried. He knows everything about you including everything that you will ever do or say in the future! But, guess what? He’s not sorry that He created you.

He sent Jesus into the world to prove that He loves you beyond measure!

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 KJV)

But we have a sin problem that has separated us from God.

We were all born with a sin nature after Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. We’ve all said and done things that are morally wrong and that have hurt ourselves and others.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23 KJV)

But God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, into the world as a flesh and blood Human Who is also fully God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and was born of the virgin, Mary.

He lived a sinless life and saved all, and continues to save all who sincerely and genuinely repent of their sins and ask Him to be their Lord and Savior.

At the end of His earthly ministry, Jesus was condemned to die on the Cross and was treated as a criminal, but He was without sin. He willingly gave "...His life a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:28 KJV).

But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8 KJV)

He died, was buried, but on the third day, God resurrected Him back to life again thus conquering death and sin forever! This was God’s plan to save His creation!

Those who ultimately reject Jesus will be eternally separated from God in hell. God did not intend for His creation to go to hell, it was made for Satan and his demons. But God gave His creation free will to choose or reject Him.

What this means is that each person must consciously and willingly accept His free, but costly gift of Jesus' salvation. The only other option is to reject Him!

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23 KJV)

All who place their trust in Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, are eternally saved and part of God’s blood-bought family. Once a person accepts Jesus, all their sins are forgiven: past, present, and future! Praise Jesus!

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9 KJV)

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13 KJV)

All who sincerely accept Jesus will one day live with Him in the new Heaven and new Earth that God is creating for His children for all of eternity!

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Revelation 21:4 KJV)

Our faith in Jesus is what saves us, not works or good deeds. We could never do enough to earn salvation. It is the gift of God.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (Romans 5:1 KJV)

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV)

When we accept Jesus, we are in agreement with God that we are sinful and in need of a Savior. We turn to Jesus and turn away from our sins. We further acknowledge that we are powerless without God’s help.

A day is coming when Jesus will return to gather all who believe and receive Him: first those who are asleep, then the believers that are still alive. This will be the Rapture.

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of [Noah] were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:36-37 KJV)

16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV)

Those who accept Jesus prior to the Rapture will be spared the coming Tribulation, when God's wrath is poured out on a rebellious world.

And to wait for His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, Which delivered us from the wrath to come. (1 Thessalonians 1:10 KJV)

After the Rapture, the coming Tribulation will be hell on earth. People will still be able to be saved during the Tribulation, but the world will be much more dangerous during that time!

God is Love, but He is also Righteous. He is longsuffering and patient, but a time is coming when God’s grace will end and it will be too late to accept Jesus, God's only way to salvation.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering…not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9 KJV)

Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6 NKJV)

Those who ultimately reject God's Son, will be separated from God for eternity!

I pray you would accept Jesus today!

If you are ready to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and enter into a holy relationship with Him, you can meaningfully pray this simple salvation prayer:

Dear God,

I admit I’m a sinner in need of a Savior. I thank You that You sent Jesus, Your Son, Who knew no sin to be the Complete and Final sacrifice for my eternal salvation. He is fully God and became fully Human to save me from my sins: past, present, and future!

I believe He willingly went to the Cross, He died, was buried, and then You resurrected Him back to life on the third day thus conquering death and sin forever!

Please forgive me for all my sins, Dear Jesus, and please come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Please cleanse me and purify me from all unrighteousness.

Dear Lord, help me to live for You each and every day!

Give me the courage to love others as You love me. Please use me to further Your Kingdom and empower me to live a righteous life from this day forward!

In Jesus’ Precious Name I pray. Amen!

If you just humbly, and sincerely accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior with the above salvation prayer, let me say a big "Welcome to God’s Forever Family!" Would you please let me know by sending me an email in the form below? I’ll be praying for you!

All who honestly repent of their sins and accept Jesus, receive the permanent indwelling Holy Spirit as a seal of their inheritance (See Ephesians 1:13-14)!

Know that these Bible verses are for you, new child of God…

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (Romans 8:1 KJV)

Jesus paid the complete price for our eternal salvation, so all of our sins are paid for: past, present, and future. However, we are still capable of sinning so we must fight temptation, confess our sins each day, and trust that God forgives us.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 KJV)

But Praise Jesus that when we place our trust in Him, nothing can sever us from His tremendous LOVE and GRACE!

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39 KJV)

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV)

Next steps:

  1. Find a Bible-based Church. A church that believes in the uncreated, eternally existing One True God composed of three Divine Persons: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Find a church that believes that you are saved by grace through FAITH and not of works, but that God will equip you to do good works.
  2. Get baptized as a public confession of your new faith in Jesus.
  3. Start reading the Holy Bible. The Book of John is a good place to start for a new believer. The Bible is God’s inerrant Word to guide you to all righteousness and Truth.
  4. Begin memorizing Bible Scripture for the Holy Spirit to help you remember the Verses you have learned. This is the primary way that God communicates with you and a vital way for you to quench the fiery darts of the devil's accusations and temptations.
  5. Get involved in a Bible study to learn with other believers what God expects from you and to learn what to expect in the world as we navigate these difficult times.
  6. Pray often. Prayer is our lifeline to God. He wants us to talk to Him about anything and everything. He will move mountains as we prayerfully intercede for ourselves and others.
  7. Be aware of spiritual warfare and persecution from others. Know that we have an enemy of our souls, Satan. He will work overtime to get you to doubt your faith and will try to get you to be disobedient to God. Resist the devil at all costs.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7 KJV)

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 KJV)

My prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Oh how I praise You for my beloved sibling in Christ! Please guide, protect, and sanctify Your precious child and begin Your supernatural heart and soul transformation!

Comfort and encourage this special person in all ways to show how trustworthy You are. Guide my new family member to the best mental health care providers, treatments, and resources that will ensure the safest path to healing.

I further pray that Your child learns to lean on You for everything: strength, courage, peace, instruction and patience for Your timing and Your ways.

Please remind Your new child to come to You daily and encourage a complete surrendering to Your Holy Spirit! Remind this lovely person to put on the full Armour of God so that Your beloved will be protected from the firey darts of the enemy.

Please also remind Your new child that Your Holy Spirit, Your Supernatural Power, the same Power that rose Jesus from the dead, is indwelling in them!

Give this special person wisdom and discernment in learning Your Word, the Bible, so to be equipped for every circumstance.

Please show Your child where to begin praying for emotional freedom and constantly bring to remembrance that nothing is impossible for You, Lord!

Let this child know that there are solutions for every problem in Your Word, and many precious promises for those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

May Your Word become alive in this very special person, and instill a deep and sustainable determination to learn everything about Your flawless character, Heavenly Father.

Direct Your beloved in the reading of Your Word to bring to awareness the Scriptures that will help the very most in healing and restoring mental health.

In Jesus' Precious Name I pray. Amen!

I am so thankful for you, my dear sibling in Christ!

Love,

Jodi
